THE AK-KEM LAKE – THE THREE BIRCHES

Now this is getting ultimately annoying. We are sitting in our tent until 11AM and we refuse from crossing the Karaturek pass when Dima tells us it’s snowing up there, it’s slippery and we don’t have any appropriate equipment. We walk back the same way we got here. By the way, it’s psychologically uncomfortable to do it once again. Splashing the dirt around, we descend and discuss the unreached place. At one moment we calm down, when we realize that we will definitely return to conquer it next year.
