The heat here is even worse than it was in Malaysia, our only savior is the rain that falls every once in a while. We are the only white people in this town and the entire taxi bike business encompasses us.

Wherever we are trying to go to, they drive along and insist on us taking their service. The town is pretty small and we would like to walk around, but this vast portion of interest towards us is unbearable: everyone is pointing at us with their fingers, kids gather around and yell: „Hello mister! How are you!”; however, this is all they know in English. We end up hiding at an internet place, but even this has not been that easy because it has a different name here… „computer”! The speed is just like everything here: primeval. We have met local dock custom officers and brokers and found out that our „Mitra Utama” is expected this evening, however, the debarkation is tomorrow at 9AM.
