CHENGDU – KUNMING (BY TRAIN)

Chinese train has three floors: first two for locals and the third one, right below the ceiling, for us. We are the only white men in the crowded carriage. Every now and then carts with different goods such as Chinese cuisine, fruits and newspapers pass by. Cart-handlers shout their monotonous offers that sound like mantra and make us dull. Scenery is amazing, though: old green rocks and mountains and fast rivers. Only numerous tunnels we drive through are bothering us to enjoy the views.
