170 kilometers made. In 1946 a group of Russian palaeontologists has discovered remains of the dinosaurs and even a five meters high zauroloph skeleton among them. Very short time ago, it was still possible to find dinosaurs’ bones and huge eggs 10-30 cm in diameter here.

Since then, of course, locals have enjoyed this mine, getting and selling bones and eggs to the tourists at the black markets of Ulaanbaatar and Danlandzadgad. However, so intrigued, in the morning we dissipated to begin our research in the reddish canyon sand. In one hour we had to admit that there is no use since our only trophy is the skull of an ibex. Sandris Jura is overhappy with it though and can’t stop photographing it. Next part of the road till Gurvantes is physically the hardest one during our entire trip. It’s still fine after my first fall, but with the next one I twist my ankle. Yet, it’s the easiest thing that could have happened. I am afraid to even think what could I get if I didn’t have biking shoes on my feet.
