300 kilometers made. In Bangkok we plan to meet our friends who will join our expedition until Kualalumpur.
Again we have to get used to the left-sided traffic, besides, not only driving but also walking which seems to be even more difficult. We spend two hours only to get to Khao San district, irrespective of having the cabdriver hired to show us the way. In this terrible heat, it’s impossible to wear the helmet all the time, so we take them off and bind to our bags. Very soon the police catch us: there are very strict conditions on it here. This time neither our stickers nor our tales help, we still have to pay penalty of 400 bats, plus, it can be done God knows where. After a long conversation we at least talk the policemen into accepting the penalty right here.
