In the morning we return to the continent to continue our ride Southern direction. The roads are in perfect state, definitely not worse than European ones, but when it comes to bikes, probably, even better.

Before paying terminals there is always a descent for bikes since the roads are free for motodrivers which is very pleasant. Our today’s aim is Cameron Highlands. We haven’t seen the police around so far, so we go 130-140 km/h. Last sixty kilometers we have to climb by the serpentine again. Irrespective of the rain that falls every once in a while, the ride is really nice and the scenery of the tea plantations is impressive. In the dark we get to Tanah Rata village where in the beginning of the century Englishmen have built few hotels and established a resort. Here, 2000 meters above the sea level the air is finally fresh and cool: something similar to the climate of Latvia. To our surprise, there is no even air condition in the hotels and we can sleep all night long with the window open.
