120 kilometers made. At 5.30 AM we get up from weird sounds that come from megaphones. First we think of tsunami or air attack, and then we discover it was merely an invitation to the morning prayer from a neighboring mosque.
It keeps on insisting for half an hour after which we could forget about falling asleep again. At 9AM we visit the service we nearly stumbled onto: a guy from the Sepang racetrack told us about. In our plans next service took place in Jakarta only because basing on our previous information, there was no single KTM dealer available before. We were happy to find this service because Janis’ bike’s packing gland of the front gab is in critical condition, so are its filters. We also have to change oil and cover plates of the brakes. We are surprised by the level of service and all the details being available; besides, many of them are half cheaper than these in Latvia. The guys are also very kind and seem to be interested in our trip. There are already twenty models of Adventure are sold in Malaysia, part of them is also here at Penang. Then we take tour around the island with local bikers.
