50 kilometers made. At 10AM, as we spoke before, we come to Cakra Agency office to process necessary documents for bikes shipping and receive horrible news: ship’s engine has gone wrong and it will take several days to fix it.
Now our departure is postponed until Thursday. It means what: all way through Indonesian islands is about 4, 000 kilometers long and we can barely make it faster than in fifteen days. The boat from Dili in East Timor leaves once in a week: now on 26th of November, next on 9th of December. So, if we miss the first one, we can only leave on 9th of December and then, because our plane tickets are booked on 19th, we’ll to cross Australia in five days!!! Sort of “Around the world in 80 days”. Probably, there is still any other option we hope find by visiting the harbor master. After having a conversation in the office, it’s all clear: Cakra Agency is the only one who can move our bikes from here to Indonesia, so all of our plans now depend on them.
