By motorboat. Unlike cargo, passenger traffic is working properly and motorboats leave for Sumatra four times a week.
We leave at 2PM and in the morning we are already there in Belawan. Looks like the civilization is over, and the scenery reminds of Cambodia. We find a motel around to stay because there is no use to leave for Medan, second biggest town in Sumatra: our bikes are coming here tomorrow.
