500 kilometers made. Dutch guys we’ve met in Laos have advised us to visit Bromo, one of many active volcanoes of Java Island.
Since it’s by our way we also do so. It takes us two hours to get up on 3, 000 meters high hill, and in the end we have to even put our jackets on: I don’t remember it being so cold since Ural. With our bikes we get to the very foot of the volcano right at the moment of sunset, and the beautiful scene we catch is worth all the trouble we had on local roads.
