BUKIT LAWANG – PRAPAT

I couldn’t wish for a better birthday party! As a main feature there goes a descent by a mountainous river, category three or four in rafting, by tiny and very doubtful float. Me and Janis sit in the middle, Kolan takes control over the rear end of the float and his partner over the front end. The river is full of rapids, and when passing them, one of our guides loses his balance and disappears under water. Everything is fine though, we just need new rod. By 10AM we get back to our bikes and take off again, now we marathon Southern direction until we find Toba Lake
